La Bombona Diving Koh Tao Try Dive
Overview
You may not have dived before. Our one day experience will take your breath away. Literally speaking you'll be breathing from a tank, so you'll be able to breathe underwater. Our experienced instructors will welcome you into our cozy dive school on the paradise island of Koh Tao. You'll get sized up with our brand new equipment to ensure you are as comfortable as possible. The you will receive an extensive safety briefing, the do's and dont's of diving, as well as a little bit about what to expect. You'll then be whisked off to our state of the art dive boat (showers, sun deck, lots of space, refreshments, all included in the price) where you'll make the short boat trip to a suitably calm bay, great for beginners. You'll start off in shallow water completing some simple skills, slowly building your confidence. Shortly after you'll slip below the surface and enjoy an experience of a lifetime, diving to a maximum depth of 12m where you will see the most amazing tropical fish and corals.

What to expect
Itinerary
The TSD course (Try Scuba Diving) starts at 10 o'clock in the morning and we begin by teaching you basic diving concepts. Then we familiarize you with the equipment you will be using, but we do our best not to overwhelm you, since it will be your first encounter with diving.
After an hour or so of briefing you and answering any questions you might have, we will head to our boat. A three-storied boat where you will be greeted with water, coffee, tea, cookies and fresh fruit. The boat provides all facilities to ensure you will have a wonderful day trip. The boat will takes us to one of the wonderful diving spots that we have around the island and the instructor will prepare all the equipment necessary for you to dive in the easiest and safest way possible.
The Basic Dive includes only one dive. However, once we get out of the water, if you would like to repeat the experience, we are more than happy to take you to a different dive spot. Also, just for one day, let’s imagine that you’re an already experienced diver, hence we can offer you the same price that a certified diver would pay. Either way, the return to the dive shop will be around 16:30 in order to finalize your paperwork.

Después de mucho buscar escuela de buceo para hacer el open water 20, nos decidimos por La Bombona Diving… hoy hemos acabado nuestro open water y podemos decir bien fuerte que hacerlo con ellos ha sido la mejor decisión que hemos tomado!! Desde el primer momento con Roció y su equipo ha ido todo ...
Después de mucho buscar escuela de buceo para hacer el open water 20, nos decidimos por La Bombona Diving… hoy hemos acabado nuestro open water y podemos decir bien fuerte que hacerlo con ellos ha sido la mejor decisión que hemos tomado!! Desde el primer momento con Roció y su equipo ha ido todo sobre ruedas desde el papeleo hasta el más mínimo detalle dentro y fuera del centro! Nuestro instructor Ponxi ha sido un grandísimo profesional que nos lo ha puesto todo súper fácil para que disfrutemos al máximo de este maravilloso mundo que es el buceo y además nos ha ayudado en cosas del día a día fuera de la escuela poniéndose a nuestra disposición y eso se agradece mucho! Ha sido todo un enorme placer hacer el curso con vosotros y pasar estos días juntos, muchísimas gracias y seguro repetiremos más inmersiones juntos!! Mil gracias!!fayebX6914LH

My fiancé and I did the Try Dive after both always wanting to give it a go…just wow! Incredible experience, like no other. Our instructors (Katie & Camilla) were patient, experienced and informative. I really did not believe I was going to do it but so proud that I did. Don’t hesitate, just do it!

What a fantastic day out! My boyfriend and I booked the Try Dive for one day whilst we were exploring Koh Tao for a long weekend. Highly recommend!! George was our instructor, followed by his assistants Ben and Issa - professionals at work. During our training, George went into good detail about scuba diving and filled us with confidence before taking the plunge. Throughout the dive, the whole team made you feel calm and allowed us to explore the coral areas of Koh Tao (Sairee Beach area). After our first dive, we got the opportunity to do a second - we jumped at the chance! All round a wonderful experience and something all should do when visiting Koh Tao. We're hoping to complete our Open Water Course somewhere along our travels, all spurred on by the team at La Bombana. Thanks guys!!Z5383SNanap

El trato fue muy bueno ! Nuestro profe , Txus un 10! No me gusto q no había material adecuado para mi hija de 9 años y eso me lo tendrían q haber avisado. La bombona era enorme para ella, las gafas eran de adulto … si me hubiesen avisado hubiese llevado desde aquí sus gafas . Me pareció poco segu...

Me pareció poco seguro y de solo tuviésemos un instructor cuando íbamos con dos niñas . Suerte q Toni el fotógrafo , es Dive Master y nos echó una mano. De todas formas , lo valoro bien porque TXUS , estuvo en todo momento pendiente de nosotros , nos hizo sentir seguros y no nos forzó a hacer la segunda inmersión ,yo pensaba q tendríamos q dejar la actividad , pero mi hija se acostumbró a nada de lado ( la bombona pensaba mas q ella ), asumió q le entraba agua x las gafas y disfruto al Máximo viendo el fondo marino q nos ofrecia Kho Tao.L8183LQrogerc

Im from Canada. Scuba diving was good. Was chilling alone at boat front smoking weed, then this oldie came out shouting from other end of the boat saying to kill my joint. Im fine if there are rules. But in the pic below another white guy was smoking weed sitting beside him. He didnt say anything...

But in the pic below another white guy was smoking weed sitting beside him. He didnt say anything. Seems this oldie had a problem with my skin color. I recommend the agency to train their staff on diversity and inclusion before unleashing them to people.
