You can tell that she loves what she does and it makes the tour that much more enjoyable. They have lots of options for customizing tours. In the planning process, they were quick to answer questions and provide information via email. I would highly recommend them for shore excursions from Kusadasi.Very nice tour, the inky thing I would change is not to go to the rug sales place, it was a high pressure sales pitch

First off, this tour IS NOT for Cruisers only. Anyone in the area could secure. But as it was, we sailed in on Enchanted Princess. We prefer to book our own excursions and not pay the bloated ship rates. Keep in mind, when you book via the cruise, you only move as fast as the slowest person in your group. And there are some unhealthy and slow passengers on these ship excursions with tons of people - all wanting to move at their own pace. Everything was communicated by email and WhatsApp messaging with Elif. She is a great communicator. Our private guide for the day was Necla Gungor. She is a lovely lady. A native of the area. Speaks excellent English. We had a very affordable day together. Elif arranged for us to be with Necla, along with a private driver who owned an excellent vehicle. Most importantly, he had and used his excellent Air Conditioning. All this provided for great value and tour of this lovely city. During the week, we took five tours in seven days. This was by far the best. Were Necla to live in the USA, I could imagine us being friends (she’s younger). We’re an active couple in our mid 50s and she was great about allowing us to go where we wanted, spend the amount of time we desired, and answered all questions thoroughly. If you have plans to visit the city of Ephesus, ask for Necla when you book. Our guide Eida was perhaps the most knowledgable private guide we have hired in 16 cruises. Our guide Eida was perhaps the most knowledgable private guide we have hired in 16 cruises. We had both been to Ephesus before in April 2004 and felt we had a good tour but this one was exceptional. Our guide spoke near perfect English and was easy to understand. She was well versed in the religions of the world and how they related to the sights we were visiting. She picked us up at 7:30AM in a new modern Ford van with high ceiling that could have seated 12 easily even though we were only 4. We got to the house of Mary before the crowds and then proceeded to Ephesus, again just as the big buses were arriving. She explained every aspect of the antiquities and allowed us to choose what we wanted to see. From there we visited a ceramics shop and a confectionary before having lunch in an outdoor setting. By 2:30PM, we decided we had enough although she was willing to stay with us until 5PM. The total cost for 4 including lunch, admissions to historic sights and tip was about $110 per person. By the end, we felt like we had known Eida for years and parted with very warm feelings. This was an excellent experience. We had a great tour with our guide, Kaya. We had a great tour with our guide, Kaya. He was extremely knowledgeable but didn’t overload us with too much information. Kaya and the driver, whose name escapes me, were both friendly and courteous and enjoyed showing us the sites of magnificent Ephesus. For a private tour, it was most affordable. I would definitely recommend Ephesus Port Tours. Ask for Kaya! Our party of six adults hired Mutlu and his driver in a private van at the port in Kusadasi for a private tour of Ephesus. Our party of six adults hired Mutlu and his driver in a private van at the port in Kusadasi for a private tour of Ephesus. It was fantastic! He was right there for our tour right on time. Since it was going to be such a hot day in July, he took us right to the ruins in Ephesus before the large cruise tours were even there. We had the place almost to ourselves! It was a downhill tour so very easy walking through the incredible ruins. Mutlu was very knowledgeable and spoke very good and clear English. We then went to the House of the Virgin Mary and also did some local shop after that. After that he took us up an authentic Turkish local restaurant in Selcuk. Amazing food, and he promised that the fresh tomato salad was the best, and he was right. He had us back to our cruise ship with plenty of time to spare. It’s so much better to do a private tour instead of a ship tour with 40 other people! Mutlu’s email is [email protected]
