Overview

This half-day tour will take you to the Korean DMZ that is located about an hour away from Seoul. You will see the Third Tunnel,  the DMZ Exhibition Hall, the Dora Observatory, the Dorasan Station (closed temporally by military) and pass by the Unification Village on the way back to Seoul. It will be an educational experience to learn about the Korean War and its history.

This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park, 481-1 Samok-ri, Munsan-eup, Paju, Gyeonggi-do South Korea

You can see the Freedom Bridge, Monument of Soldiers, Bell of Peace and an old steam locomotive that shows the extremity of the tragedy that was the Korean War.

Stop At: DMZ, Munsan-eup, Majeong-ri Imjingak Tourist information center, Paju, Gyeonggi-do South Korea

The DMZ is a unique area where you can observe one country being divided into two.
With this tour, you will visit the 3rd Tunnel, DMZ Exhibition hall, Dora observatory and Unification village.
Experience the tension but hope for peace in Korea and learn about their history and future.

Duration: 2 hours 10 minutes

Stop At: The Third Tunnel, Nosang-ri, Jangdan-myeon, Paju, Gyeonggi-do 10800 South Korea

North Korean Army built to infiltrate South Korea in 1970s. You will walk down to the tunnel (about 500m) wearing a safety helmet.
After tunnel, you will have some time to look around the DMZ Exhibition Hall which shows the Korean War, old weapons and you can watch a short film about Korea's history and other information of Korea.

Duration: 50 minutes

Stop At: Dora Observatory, Jeomwon-ri, Gunnae-myeon, Paju, Gyeonggi-do 413-920 South Korea

The highlight spot in DMZ is Dora Observatory where you can see North Korea’s propaganda village through onsite telescopes.

  • A current valid passport is required on the day of travel

  • Not provided pick-up from Airport and Cruise Port.
  • Not recommended for travelers with claustrophobia for the 3rd Tunnel. Instead, the traveler may wait outside.
  • Not recommended for elderly for the 3rd Tunnel as slope way. Instead, they may wait outside.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
