Overview
This half-day tour will take you to the Korean DMZ that is located about an hour away from Seoul. You will see the Third Tunnel, the DMZ Exhibition Hall, the Dora Observatory, the Dorasan Station (closed temporally by military) and pass by the Unification Village on the way back to Seoul. It will be an educational experience to learn about the Korean War and its history.

You can see the Freedom Bridge, Monument of Soldiers, Bell of Peace and an old steam locomotive that shows the extremity of the tragedy that was the Korean War.

The DMZ is a unique area where you can observe one country being divided into two.
With this tour, you will visit the 3rd Tunnel, DMZ Exhibition hall, Dora observatory and Unification village.

Stop At: The Third Tunnel, Nosang-ri, Jangdan-myeon, Paju, Gyeonggi-do 10800 South Korea
North Korean Army built to infiltrate South Korea in 1970s. You will walk down to the tunnel (about 500m) wearing a safety helmet.
After tunnel, you will have some time to look around the DMZ Exhibition Hall which shows the Korean War, old weapons and you can watch a short film about Korea's history and other information of Korea.

- Not recommended for travelers with claustrophobia for the 3rd Tunnel. Instead, the traveler may wait outside.
- Not recommended for elderly for the 3rd Tunnel as slope way. Instead, they may wait outside.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

Our tour guide told very good stories of the history while on-route. It was great getting to explore the history first hand from the days of Korean War. Very hands on experience.

Due to the coronavirus, we could not travel to the DMZ, so the tour operator booked us an alternative tour that included visits to Imjingak park, the Odusan Observatory and the War Memorial Museum. All are excellent visits that help you understand the impact of the Korean War on the country and the entire Korean peninsula. Our guide, Mr. Kim, was excellent and offered a great perspective on the war's legacy and the effects still felt today. The weather on our trip day was very poor - cold and snowy - but the bus driver did an excellent job on the roads with low visibility. Kudos to the tour operator for responding to a situation beyond their control and offering a wonderful alternative.
