You can experience to work with a kendo instructor who speaks English in an easy to understand
way. You will be provided a varied kendo experience that is perfect for a first visit to Japan from
basic etiquette skills of kendo to learning about and using armor.

What to expect
You can practice Kendo, “Unify your spirits”, ”Manners” and “Lifelong Kendo”. These three benefits can be created as a kendo. You can learn not only how to hit and competitiveness, but also the history of kendo and etiquette as material arts. And you also touch the spiritual and cultural aspects. Please feel the practice of kendo from experience your mind, skill and body.

The class was fantastic, and Yamakawa sensei was patient enough to teach me, who had absolutely no previous experience with kendo, the basics of or. I definitely recommend it, even for non-Japanese speakers.My son (college aged) and I chose this experience as it is a Japanese sport and something I would not find at home in the US. Wow! Taiji was very informative, patient, encouraging, and friendly. Despite the language barrier, he spoke enough English to instruct us well and show us what to do. This is a must for families! I hope to come back and do it again with my other sons… it’s worth a repeat visit. 👍The dealings with the experience fully positive. Accommodated a date rearrange due to a dental issue. Once there Sensei Taiji was fantastic with us. He was for patient with us botha nd was catering to me and my partners different styles and approach. Had a fantastic time that flew in.
