The good - a day on a private boat in the mediterranean is never a bad day. The bad - many of the reviews led us to believe this would be a spectacular day filled with amazing food and white glove service. The "private" transfer picked us up in a bus with other folks and started and ended our day with an absolutely harrowing drive with an insane old turkish driver. I feared for my life many times. The boat we were on was fine but nothing special. The captain was indifferent to our presence and it felt awkward all day. He was clearly just going through the motions.... we went on the circuit of tourist sites, no customization, even though on a private tour you would think you could customize a bit what you do with your day. The "fresh cooked" lunch was clearly food that had been brought to him by the tour company refrigerated. Some of the worst food we had in Turkey. He did cook the fish fresh so that's a positive. Overall very disappointed considering our expectations from the other reviews. There's no way everyone gives them five stars. But I'm sure the tour company is paying to have bad reviews taken down, as they'll likely do with this one.Ibrahim and his wife took us on our stunning trip. Ibrahim and his wife took us on our stunning trip. They were absolutely amazing, so welcoming friendly and warm, and made our trip even better. Ibrahim was open to whatever we wanted to do, allowing us to spend shorter or longer times in each area depending how we felt. The entire boat trip was amazing from the second we got on to the moment we got off, we were all in shock at the beauty of the landscape, the blue of the ocean was so beautiful, and the ancient ruins were breathtaking. Lunch was served, and my family said it was their favourite meal of the holiday, home-cooked, fresh and delicious, Ibrahim's wife was amazing, all prepared from scratch with the freshest ingredients! The fish was caught that morning by Ibrahim. They even packed up the leftovers so we could take them home for dinner. We saw other boats on trips in big groups, and we were so happy to have the private experience, Ibrahim was so good at taking us to quieter more private coves, avoiding other boats. A truly memorable day, and our favourite day of the holiday, I 100% recommend, and definitely recommend Ibrahim to be your captain if you get the chance! From the moment we were picked up by the Mercedes van, to the moment we arrived at the boat, to the moment we were dropped at home, we felt spoiled and luxurious! From the moment we were picked up by the Mercedes van, to the moment we arrived at the boat, to the moment we were dropped at home, we felt spoiled and luxurious! The boat was spacious, and though several were prone to motion sickness, no one got sick! We made several stops for swimming, and the captain served us Turkish coffee while we were in the sea! It was delightful. Lunch was a delicious buffet of chicken, vegetables, and salad. This was a glorious day for our family of 7.Fantastic value for money and great fun! Fantastic value for money and great fun! For eight of us in early September, the trip cost just £400, which we thought was excellent for a full day trip that included being picked up at our front door in a comfortable mini-bus, and driven through beautiful and interesting countryside to our departure, a spacious boat with both shade and sun, excellent, friendly captain Omas, lots of stops, glorious swimming and absolutely delicious food. Highlights were the fish barbecue, which was plentiful, super tasty and definitely exceeded expectations, swimming in ‘our own’ gorgeous bay with no other boats or people in sight and stopping for homemade ice cream on the charming only-accessible-by-boat village of Kalekoy. Only downside - no snorkel gear on board, although we had been promised some. Strongly recommend taking your own. Otherwise a fantastic, magical, memorable day.Amazing day in the waters of Kekova together with 5 girlfriends of mine. Ibrahim and her wife welcomed us aboard with a cup of tea/coffee. Amazing day in the waters of Kekova together with 5 girlfriends of mine. Ibrahim and her wife welcomed us aboard with a cup of tea/coffee. They were really kind and made us feel like home. The boat was very clean and the tour was really interactive. Ibrahim was giving us some information about Kekova whilst we were enjoying the views and the sun. He was also very flexible regarding the program and was letting us choose the route that would suit us best. Spotlight: the lunch. It was a-Ma-Zing and authentic. Ibrahim was grilling the fish in front of us (and he caught the fish the very same morning!). We could not have expected better. We all agreed on the fact that the time passed by too quick - we would indeed have stayed way longer in that boat, it was a perfect day. Besides, the transfer from/to our Airbnb worked perfectly too. And the communication with Ibrahim prior to the trip was always smooth - replying at the second and giving us all information we needed. Really worth the money, the time and the experience! 100000% recommended.
