Short 3 min. boat ride to the snorkel destination from our harbor!
Most other boats carry about 20 to 60 people &
The other harbor is about a 30 min boat ride at night to the manta site.
Please arrive on time for the start of your scheduled tour.
40 minutes is allocated to prepare guests before going out on the boat.
Snorkel time is approximately 30 minutes, not exact.
Our experienced In-water swim guide, Captain & Lifeguard are stationed at the viewing site, with light board, underwater dive lights, & Manta Rays anticipating your arrival. All Crew are highly knowledgeable, full of interesting facts.
You will float on the surface of the water, snorkeling, while holding on to our custom light board for approximately 30 minutes. The light board attracts plankton, and in turn the manta rays enjoy swimming close by in order to scoop up the concentrated accumulation of food in the lights below you.
All guests must have basic swimming skills to enter the water.

- Near public transportation
- Not recommended for travelers with back problems
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
- Most travelers can participate
- Basic swimming skills are required
- Previous snorkeling experience is required
- Guests must be able to independently climb up a boat ladder
- Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions and safety briefings

- Not recommended for those who have recently undergone surgery or who may have mobility/physical restrictions.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

One of the coolest most memorable experiences you’ll ever have. Extremely awesome, can’t even explain it. I’d definitely do this multiple times and recommend to everyone. Crew was awesome, manta rays were even more awesome. It was raining while we went and it was still amazing. You won’t be sorry...

Probably one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had in my life! I was scared before starting the tour but once you’re in the water it all goes away. They are so majestic!! This is a MUST do when visiting the big island.

Great experience, my top experience in Big Island. The team diver, Derek was incredibly good and was able to attract the Manta Rays. I only wish they provided us with ankle floaters that would have helped us float better.
