What to expect
First head to the shop where you will meet your guide (If option selected) and gear up. Then head out to the beautiful islands to start your kayaking adventure. On the Islands enjoy a deli lunch with amazing views of Kailua and Lanikai.

Additional information
- This tour is not recommended for people who do not know how to swim.
- Children 15 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult in a double (tandem) kayak
- Not wheelchair accessible
- The weight limit for a single-person kayak is 280lbs (127kg) and a double (tandem) kayak is 400lbs (181kg)
- Near public transportation
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- Check in is 15 minutes before the tour time.
- Customers must be able to transport kayaks to the beach (15 min) on a cart and drag over the sand. They weigh 70lbs.
- All guests must be able to swim
- HOURS: 8-5PM EVERYDAY - will need to return rental by 5pm
- Face masks required for travelers in public areas
- Face masks required for guides in public areas
- Hand sanitizer available to travelers and staff
- Social distancing enforced throughout experience
- Regularly sanitized high-traffic areas
- Gear/equipment sanitized between use
- Guides required to regularly wash hands

- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 8 travelers
- Confirmation will be received at time of booking, unless booked within 2 days of travel. In this case confirmation will be received within 48 hours, subject to availability

John and Tomo were our guides. They were the best. I was a little anxious and they made me feel safe and they were very attentive and knowledgeable. It was an awesome trip. Beautiful scenery and fun guides!!

Beautiful scenery and fun guides!!The self guided kayaking tour was so much fun! Instructions were clearly laid out by the KBA crew and there was a wide open area to explore! We totally would do this again when we return:)

The gear was good quality. Fyi, the beach snorkeling is nothing compared to Hanauma Bay. The bits of reef were hard to see and didn't have the flora or fauna like Hanauma. But it was safe and convenient.It was really windy the day I went. Kayaking was really hard and I got pushed across the beach. I had to drag my kayak back across the beach to get back to the shop. Keep in mind I’m not very In shape either so it was a huge struggle the whole time :( If it’s windy they should just refund you. Or...

Keep in mind I’m not very In shape either so it was a huge struggle the whole time :( If it’s windy they should just refund you. Or tell you beforehand you need to have experience to kayak in the ocean.It was an awesome experience! Our guide, Goose, was great! He was very knowledgeable and did anything he could to help you enjoy the whole experience.
