Kayak Trip to Monte Isola, on Iseo lake
Overview
You will admire the beauty of Iseo Lake and its pearls, such as Monte Isola and San Paolo islands or the town of Peschiera Maraglio, from a privileged and unique point of view, thanks to the kayak.
Moreover, you will try a first hand experience and touch with the nature and the lake.

- Technical Equipment: Kayak, paddle, life jacket, waterproof bag for personal items.
- Guide.
What to expect
You will meet your guide at the parking and receive all the technical equipment needed. Then, a short briefing will follow where you will be introduced to the basic paddling techniques and safety procedures.
Then you will start the kayak trip with your guide. Thanks to the kayak you will enjoy a privileged point of view from the lake. First you will see the famous San Paolo Island, a small private island ahead of the bigger Monte Isola island. Than we will move north in the middle of the lake, for a wonderful view on the Alps. Moving back close to Monte Isola, you will admire Rocca Martinengo, a defensive castle standing above the cliffs.
A short break will follow, for having a bath and try some fun water games with the kayak.
Paddling along Monte Isola shore, we will than reach Peschiera Maraglio, the biggest town of the island.
Finally, you will reach again the meeting point where the trip ends.

The guide was great- he did a great job explaining everything and getting us up an going. I took three kids aged 12 to 15 with me and the level was perfect - a workout but completely doable.

Una bellissima esperienza che richiede solo un po' di voglia di fare attività fisica. La guida ha dato tutte le spiegazioni per affrontare la traversata in sicurezza, dopo di che abbiamo visto Monte Isola da una prospettiva nuova: dall'acqua! Il lago è tranquillo e a pelo d'acqua soffia una leggera brezza piacevole. Il panorama è bellissimo, e a Sulzano ho visto ville affacciate sul lago che stando sulla riva restano nascoste. Mi è sembrato tutto nuovo, anche se vado sul lago d'Iseo da anni! Davvero una piacevole escursione in kayak alla portata di tutti.
