Enter the swamp where you can observe brown and American pelicans, cormorants, flamingos and many other types of birds. You will observe the mangrove in its splendor.

I highly recommend the experience, especially if you are a nature lover. The scenery is beautiful and peaceful, also our guide Diego was knowledgeable, friendly and really great to talk to. He helped us identify different species of birds, such as American Flamingo, American pelicans, Roseate Spoonbill, among others, many of which I had never seen before. I’ve taken the tour multiple times and everytime is a different experience, can’t wait to come back soon! P.S. Don’t forget to take your camera and ask Diego for fun facts, he also gives great recommendations of things to do in Merida.Vimos muchisimas aves y el lugar está bellisimo. Además los kayaks están muy cómodos, tienen buen asiento y lugar para proteger nuestras pertenencias del agua. Les recomiendo llevar bloqueador o hacer el tour temprano ya que el sol suele estar muy fuerte.
