after breakfast leave 08.00 am to ciwidey, we will make stop for country side panorama do Litle walk enjoying , teras rice field , local village ,old train bridge and coffee luwak home industry ( which is one of the most exspensive coffe trough cat processing) then we drive to the white crater

This narrow river valley steams and bubbles with volcanic activity and within the natural flowing river, locals have created artificial ponds near thermal springs of varying temperatures, some with bamboo pipes for a hot “shower”. De tour was geweldig. Samen met Umien & Asap zijn we de hele dag op pad geweest. Je dag is zo gevuld door de leuke plekken waar je heen gaat en de info die Umien (gids) geeft. Je gaat naar o.a. de witte krater waar je naar een mooi uitkijkpunt gaat waar de meeste touristen niet langs gaan. Mooie...
De tour was geweldig. Samen met Umien & Asap zijn we de hele dag op pad geweest. Je dag is zo gevuld door de leuke plekken waar je heen gaat en de info die Umien (gids) geeft. Je gaat naar o.a. de witte krater waar je naar een mooi uitkijkpunt gaat waar de meeste touristen niet langs gaan. Mooie thee- en kleine rijstplantage en een heerlijke warmwaterbron. Nadien eten bij een origineel Soendanees restaurant. Simpelweg meer dan ‘Worth for your buck’ Voordat je gaat boeken zou ik proberen telefonisch contact op te nemen met Umien. Gisteren 29 juni zijn om 8 uur smorgens door de gids Umien en de chauffeur Asap opgehaald. We zijn naar de Kawah Putih gegaan. Onderweg nog gestopt en een klein stukje het binnenland ingelopen. Leuk idyllische weggetje met een oude Nederlandse spoorbrug. Daarna verderop nog bij een leuk tentje ko...
Gisteren 29 juni zijn om 8 uur smorgens door de gids Umien en de chauffeur Asap opgehaald. We zijn naar de Kawah Putih gegaan. Onderweg nog gestopt en een klein stukje het binnenland ingelopen. Leuk idyllische weggetje met een oude Nederlandse spoorbrug. Daarna verderop nog bij een leuk tentje koffie gedronken omdat we anders te vroeg bij Kawah putih zouden zijn. Bij de entree met een klein mini busje zijn we naar boven gebracht. Daar hebben we een bospad genomen naar het hoogste uitkijkpunt. De rest van de bezoekers gingen allemaal meteen naar het meer. Het was een flinke klim met op het einde heel veel trappen. Maar goed te doen hoor. Boven een prachtig uitzicht op het meer. Daarna weer naar beneden. Naar het meer. Was een surrealistisch omgeving rond het meer. Umien wist precies dat wij niet van het toeristische gedeelte hielden. Na het meer gingen naar het heet water meer. Onderweg nog even gestopt en stukje door een theeplantage gelopen. Umien geeft overal uitleg over. En beantwoord al je vragen. Hij is heel prettig en gezellig in omgang. Bij het heetwater meer hebben wij een modderbad genomen en daarna ons afgespoeld onder het warme water uit bron. En later nog in een warm water poel gezeten. Tijdens het omkleden en hey modder insmeren let hij op je spullen en neemt foto's als je hem jou camera geeft. Dit was echt een heerlijke natuurlijke Spa. En geen toeristische. Hierna hebben we pas onze verlate lunch gegeten. Deed hij in overleg. Heerlijk Sundanees gegeten op een mooie plek waar je uitkeek over het dal. Na deze fantastische dag zijn we door Asap en Umien weer bij ons hotel afgezet. Umien en Asap zijn een leuk stel mensen die je bij de locale bezienswaardigheden brengt. Echt een aanrader!!!!Ilse v

We bezochten de Hot Springs en reden door de theeplan...

We werden opgehaald door gids Umien en zijn broer die als chauffeur fungeerde. Ze hebben ons de mooie bezienswaardigheden ten zuiden van Bandung laten zien. Umien wist het nodige te vertellen over de rijstvelden, de theeplantages, de vulkanen en de warm waterbronnen. Dit alles in een relaxte sfee...

Umien wist het nodige te vertellen over de rijstvelden, de theeplantages, de vulkanen en de warm waterbronnen. Dit alles in een relaxte sfeer. We konden de tour met contant geld bij Umien betalen. Al met al was het een hele mooie dag, één van de hoogtepunten van onze vakantie op Java!
