What to expect
We ask guests to wear clothes that they do not mind getting dirty! All guests must wear sturdy, closed-toe footwear that can be used for hiking. Bug spray and reef safe sunscreen are recommended as well as a towel and extra clothes for showering off after the tour.
Guests will be provided with goggles, a helmet, and a souvenir neck gaiter (for use as a face mask). A safety overview, including driving instructions, will be given by your guides before heading out on the trails. For this tour, guests can expect to view pristine landscapes from makai (ocean) to mauka (mountain). This tour will take you on plantation trails over Kauai's most southern point in Polaris UTV's. Guests will hear the tales of Kamehameha from atop an inactive volcanic crater, see famous movie sites, visit the cliffs of Mahaulepu beach and even be able to try their luck at some catch and release bass fishing on the Waita Reservoir!
Guest will be asked for a copy of collateral (credit card) for insurance purposes during the waiver sign in process. This tour provides approximately 40 minutes of drive time. Expect some moderate hiking.

- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- IMPORTANT: you will need to advise the names, weights and dates of birth of all passengers in your group prior to arrival. Please reach out to us with this information once your booking has been submitted
- Not recommended for travelers with mobility issues. There is a hike from seaside cliff to beach
- Drivers must be 18 with valid driver's license. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult 25 and older
- Children 4 years and younger are not permitted
- Hand sanitizer available to travelers and staff
- Regularly sanitized high-traffic areas
- Gear/equipment sanitized between use
- Transportation vehicles regularly sanitized
- Guides required to regularly wash hands
- Regular temperature checks for staff
- Paid stay-at-home policy for staff with symptoms
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
- This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund

The Tour was great thru the verdant countryside, to the largest reservoir on the island for a little fishing and then to an overlook of the south shore / amazing sights everywhere. This was such a well-planned tour. The guides were very friendly and attentive. I think their names were Branson and Tyler. I can't believe how excellent they were at this job. There were a couple of moments when my son was sad because he thought we were done but he was pleasantly surprised each time when we headed out on another leg of our journey. Each stop was a treat, from the historjcal sugar plantation tunnel, to the fishing, to the amazing beach hike. What an incredible stop. The guides did not rush us when we were taking in the scenery and the ATV trails were nice and bumpy. I can't say enough about the delightful views and scenery. The only improvement we would have enjoyed is that my 15 year-old wished he were old enough to drive.This was a really great excursion. I wish it was longer because it was so much fun! This was a really great excursion. I wish it was longer because it was so much fun! Branson and Jordan were great, knowledgeable, and FUNNY. They explained the instructions clearly and precisely, allowed time for each stop, and made sure that the group stayed together. It was cool to hear local legends, history, and modern information. 10/10 would recommend. You do get dusty and dirty, but the memories are irreplaceable and showers are a pretty easy fix.
