Jungle Tour with Snorkel in Cancun
Overview
Follow your guide and drive your own speedboat through the winding channels of the Nichupte Lagoon. Bask in the beauty of the luscious mangrove jungle, home to all kinds of animal species.
The coral reef awaits to be explored along with a few of the most captivating sculptures from MUSA, the Cancun Underwater Museum! The area’s waters are shallow, crystalline and warm, so the experience is nice and easy even for those with no snorkeling experience.

What to expect
Check-in half an hour before departure at the Aquaworld Cancun marina.
First, you’ll receive your locker where you should keep everything you don’t want to get wet.
Then you’ll join your group and receive a warm welcome from the guide. After a short activity briefing, hop on board your boat and start driving towards Punta Nizuc reef.
Pass through the mangrove jungle of the lagoon and arrive at the crystal waters of the Caribbean Sea where you’ll stop and snorkel.
After snorkeling around the reef for approximately 30 minutes, you’ll board your boat again and drive back to Aquaworld.

- Weight limit per boat 550lbs. Maximum capacity 2 passengers.
- Age Limit: Minimum 5 years old Maximum 65 years old

Only about 40 minutes of snorkeling and very very basic but plenty good for first time. Would recommend to go once with this all in mind and you will enjoy.The guide was Omar. He was very informative on the boat portion and it was a great day to go out and do this tour. The only thing was a negative was that when he stopped with the snorkeling he didn't ask if everyone knew how to snorkel and it wasn't guided it was here is a pool now go swim. I did...

I didn't mind because we had just don't that but a couple said at the end only reason they didn't get in sooner cause they didn't know how. But all in all u get your own boat and it was so fun to drive in the ocean.loved it! start with your own boat ride (yes you run your own boat following the tour leader).. it was really cool, even my daughter got to drive it and she loves it! you go through the stretch beach into the mangrove zone. then you stop at the other end of the island shallow/deep enough to snork...

He was so reluctant to do this. We got him on the boat and to the coral, but he was not getting in the water. Alfonso got him into the water. Baby steps. Didn't pressure him, took him by the hand and slowly helped ease his fears. It was the kindest thing I have witnessed a stranger do. I wish i would have had 200 dollars in my pocket to give him. It was amazing. I appreciated it, as well as my son. Also... the snorkeling is just fun! The coral was amazing and we had a marvelous time!Beautiful experience and views ! We had so much fun. The speedboat ride was fun we really enjoyed it through the ‘jungle’. I was terrified to snorkel as I have a fear of the sea but pablo is so experienced that it puts you at ease. He knew all the best spots to look and see all the fish and coral reef. Would highly recommend this trip.
