Itinerary
Day 1: Amman Airport or Amman Hotel - Mt Nebo - Madaba - King's Way - Kerak - Petra Hotel
Stop At: Amman, Amman, Amman Governorate
Pickup at Amman Airport or any location in Amman City to start your trip. For arrivals to the airport on the same day you need to land in summer time before 09:00am and in winter time before 08:00am.
Duration: 5 minutes
Stop At: Mount Nebo, Madaba Jordan
Drive to Mt. Nebo, believed to be the burial site of Prophet Moses. If the weather allows you will have like him a view of the Promised Land. In the remains of the Moses Memorial Church, constructed in the 4th century, you see beautiful mosaics.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Madaba Mosaic Map, Inside St. George's Church, Madaba Jordan
Short ride to the town of Madaba, known for its Byzantine and Umayyad mosaic art. Certainly you see the popular 6th century map of Palestine in the Greek Orthodox St. George’s Church. Free time to stroll around if you wish.

Stop At: Karak Castle, Karak Jordan
Afterward we drive to Kerak along the famous ancient biblical caravan route, the King's Way. We have a short stop in Wadi Al-Mujib, a great wide valley with magnificent geological formation. Visit in Kerak the famous Crusader castle built in 1132/34 by King Baldwin I. of Jerusalem.

Proceed 2 hours to Petra, where we drop you off at your booked hotel.

Day 2: Petra Visit - Petra Hotel
Stop At: Petra - Wadi Musa 77110 Jordan
Today visit the red rose city Petra, the biggest attraction of Jordan. Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and founded a commercial empire that extended into Syria. Start the trip on horse back or on foot to the canyon, the so called Siq, and walk to the most beautiful monument: the Treasury, from here to the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs, Pharaoh's Castle and if you are up to it climb the 800 stairs to the Monastery El Deir.

Day 3: Petra Hotel - Wadi Rum 2.5 hours jeep ride - Dead Sea Hotel
Stop At: Wadi Rum Protected Area, Wadi Rum Jordan
Pickup Petra hotel lobby and drive 1.5 hrs to Wadi Rum, one of the most impressing desert landscapes in the world. Explore the area by a jeep ride to see rugged mountains, canyons, sand dunes and rock inscriptions from Thamudic and Nabatean period.

From Wadi Rum drive 3.5 to 4 hours to your booked hotel at the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth.

Day 4: Dead Sea Hotel - Baptism Site - Amman Tour - Amman Hotel or Amman Airport
Stop At: The Baptism Site Of Jesus Christ, Site, Juwafat al-Kafrayn Jordan
Drive around 20 minutes to Baptism Site, at the east bank of the Jordan River, the place where John preached and baptized Jesus. The Baptism Site is recognized as one of the three holiest site of Christianity. The area is also associated with the ascension of the Prophet Elijah into heaven. You see here excavated ruins, remains of Roman and Byzantine churches, wells, baptism pools and caves, where once monks lived.

Stop At: Al Balad – Downtown Amman, Amman Jordan
Then drive 1 hour to Amman Citadel with Temple of Hercules, Umayyad Palace & Archaeological Museum. Not far is the Roman Theatre from 2nd century, stroll along traditional Souqs and in Jabal Amman. Transfer to your drop off location, a hotel in Amman or Amman Airport in case of late afternoon or evening departure.

Our driver Mohamed Masoud is the best, We visited Amman,, Mount Nebo, Petra, Wadi Rum, Dead Sea. He did his job with excellence. He cattered our needs during the trip. He gave some information about the sites that were visited. Definitely I recommend our driver and the company PN Tours Jordan.

We spent 4 four days in Jordan as a family of 4 including 2 teenagers. Mr. Tayseer was assigned to be our private driver for our stay. We visited Amman, Mount Nebo, Dead Sea, Petra, Wadi Rum, and Jerash. He did a wonderful job making us feel safe at all times. He catered to our needs and reques...

We had great conversations which gave us the opportunity to learn about the country through the eyes of a local. Mr. Tayseer definitely was a crucial part of our wonderful stay. The tour guides we had when visiting sites (Petra, Wadi Rum, Jerash) were very knowledgeable. Definitely well picked. We absolutely LOVED the jeep tour and camel ride in Wadi Rum, and enjoyed Mr. Mohammed's company. Without a proper tour company and guide every vacation has the chance of being completely ruined. However, once we get back from our holidays, we often forget about the tour guides accompanying us in our case we never will. We were a couple and took a private 4-Day Tour to Mt Nebo, Kerak, Petra, Wadi Rum, Baptism Site and Amman we felt safe the entire trip like travelling in our home country. Petra Nights Tour is a very professional agency with experienced and friendly tour guide/driver who provided us with all the information about Jordan and enlighten us on the history and culture of the region. Where to start from Airport receiving to hotel transfers on time with patience, excellent car and our guide Mr. Mohammed set a stage for a wonderful experience at each location with his US-English slang explained us everything clearly. Our vacation would not have been half as exciting if we did not have a tour guide as experienced and friendly. It is not possible to completely explore a place without a helpful tour guide who knows everything about the place. We were very lucky to have someone like you Mr. Mohammed. Dropping back to Airport everything was on time and well planned please accept our heartfelt gratitude for being such a great host and a wonderful tour company and guide. I was looking for a travel agent in Jordan that can help me with my solo trip way back 2020, this happened before the country locked down due to covid-19 situation. And Petra Nights Tours was the one who replied to me first and had a great deal with them to provide me a customized trip. The trip was unforgettable and gave me a glimpse of the main attractions in the country like Petra and Wadi Rum desert. I also had a relaxing time to bath in the Dead Sea and visit the places of Christianity (Mount Nebo, Madaba and Baptism Site). I really had a great time in Jordan and never felt alone during my stay there. Hopefully I will be able to travel there again.
