This tour was a great learning experience with respect to Jewish history in Berlin. Our guide, Nadav, is an Israeli-German, with the ideal background for this subject. On this tour, we visited fewer sights, but covered them in greater depth, as compared to other tours we took on this trip to Europe. Nadav supplemented the physical sites with historical materials contained in a notebook that he brought to share with us. We did a private Jewish tour of Berlin with Oren. Oren was a very knowledgeable young man who taught us a great deal about the history of Jews in Berlin from the Middle Ages to present day Berlin. We visited some interesting sites and heard some great stories about the people of Berlin, past and present. Oren arrived on time at our scheduled meeting point and he went out of his way to make sure we saw everything we needed to see.
