The museum, settlement, and ships are worth the admissions cost. The museum has engaging exhibits for kids & adults. The 4d theater experience for bacons rebellion was theme park grade. Plan for at least 1 hour to see the whole museum. The native settlement and fort were well staffed and had seve...

This was a most extraordinary experience. Even my kids who moaned and groaned about going to a “museum” had the most amazing time. It really brought colonial America to life and is perfect for all ages. I definitely recommend and wish we could spend more than one day there.
