Ixtapa Island Tour
Overview
The Island has three beaches, all within a very short walking distance. Varadero and Cuachalalate beaches have calm water with sandy bottom where you can swim, and the Coral Beach on the back of the island it’s a great place to snorkel in shallow water because of its beautiful coral reef and wide variety of marine life.

On the island you will also have the chance to relax in a lounge chair with a constant breeze or take a short walk into the bushes to see the tame white tail deer.

We had a great time with Captain Ran. Very informative. Went out of his way to accommodate us. Food was great. The only disappointment was the snorkeling itself. We did see a lot of fish but the water was really murky.

My husband and I booked Luis’s island Ixtapa adventure tour as one of our excursions. Luis was quick to respond via email, and flexible with dates and times. He had one of his employees (Alfredo) pick us up promptly at our AirBnb, and he spoke English very well- even helped us with our Spanish! Alfredo took us to the island and on a 30-45 minute hike to the top of the island where we took some beautiful pictures. He was very friendly and helpful with all questions we had, and knowledgable about the island. He then took us to where we could swim and made sure to order us some lunch. He watched our belongings while we swam and while I got a massage on the beach. It was a beautiful day! We recommend Luis and his company.LUIS!!!!! He is the man! LUIS!!!!! He is the man! We had Luis on our 3rd and 4th day in Ixtapa. Our first day he had taken us to Ixtapa island lots of fun and he was very knowledgeable and attentive. He offered to stay with us the following day to assist with out needs as well. The next day he assisted us with Covid testing, ATV tour, Jett sking, shopping and lunch! Luis goes above and beyond he is such a kind man. He has been in this travel business since he was 5 years old his father was a tour guide whom has now retired. He is bilingual with Spanish and English. He never pushed us to do anything we didn’t feel comfortable with. He is REALLY Easy going, GREAT customer service. We had issues with the airport not giving us our covid test results and Luis without hesitation called them to assist us in receiving them. If your coming to Ixtapa or the surrounding areas go with Luis for ALL your activity needs, you most definitely will not regret it! Thanks so much Luis for making our trip one to remember always! The Johnson & Machuca-Jones’Paco helped us get around a lot of the foot traffic! We didn't have to wait with literally boat loads of people! It was like having a fast pass! Paco helped us get around a lot of the foot traffic! We didn't have to wait with literally boat loads of people! It was like having a fast pass! We found a nice shaded table. The lunch was good and we added additional items that we wanted. The service was great. We did the banana boat while there, because I chickened out for snorkel, but they do have additional people to help you navigate the waters (for an additional fee) if you would like. Worth the money!
