You cannot miss the visit to the Ischigualasto Park "Valle De La Luna", a unique destination and outside the conventional itineraries, which surprises with its formations and unusual soil characteristics. The astonishment for the place and the richness that it contains for the study of the archaeological and paleontological sites of the area caused that UNESCO declared World Heritage Site. Its geoforms of curious forms (The Submarine, The Mushroom, the Bocce Court) and the remains of the oldest dinosaur are some of the attractions of this site, which is also known as "Valle de la Luna".

We will leave from the selected hotels in San Juan from 7 Hrs, and we will travel on National Tourist Route 150 to reach the Ischigualasto Park, or "Valley of the Moon".
Duration: 4 hours
Stop At: Parque Provincial Ischigualasto, San Agustin del Valle Fertil 5400 Argentina
The circuit covers about 40 km and has 5 stations, where the most important geoforms are visited, receiving the explanation and interpretation of them by the guides, whose assistance is essential to interpret the signs that nature has left here over more than two hundred million years.
The stations are: The Worm (El Gusano), The Painted Valley (Valle Pintado), The Bowls Court (Cancha de Bochas), The Sphinx (La Esfinge), The Submarine (El Submarino) and The Mushroom (El Hongo)

At the end of the tour, we will visit the Interpretation Center and Museum of Natural Sciences, installed at the entrance to the Park. There are exhibited parts of the paleontological pieces found on the site and its importance is exposed. We will also receive the explanation of the guides about how research, tracking, fossil recovery, and dinosaur assembly are developed.

Está todo muy bien organizado, con el grupo que viajamos pudimos contar con un guía a bordo de nuestro minibús que nos relataba por menores de los distintos lugares que recorríamos. Una experiencia digna de ser vivida otra vez". Está todo muy bien organizado, con el grupo que viajamos pudimos contar con un guía a bordo de nuestro minibús que nos relataba por menores de los distintos lugares que recorríamos. Al llegar a cada uno de los cinco estaciones con mirador que posee el circuito nos deteníamos y el guía Elvio (realmente muy conocedor y excelente profesional) juntaba a todos los turistas de la caravana que se había formado (solo permiten hasta 25 coches y sin sobrepasarse) y nos daba una charla explicativa del lugar en que estábamos en ese momento. Es maravilloso recorrer puntos como "la cancha de bochas, " "cerro morado," "el hongo". Estoy esperando tener una nueva oportunidad por pequeña que fuere para volver a recorrer ese lugar que fue declarado "Patrimonio de la Humanidad" por la UNESCO.gracielarV4355KB

Muy bonito, la entrada sale $1200 los adultos y lo recorrés en tu auto con un guía que se detiene en las 5 estaciones y se puede disfrutar cada una de ellas. Lugar obligado de visitar.
