West Coast Ischia was fantastic!! We had the best day on the Gozzo boat with Dario who was our skipper. He took us us on such a fun tour all around Ischia where we visited hidden little coves and caves where we could jump off the boat and swim/snorkle. So many highlights - one of which was swimming beneath Castello Aragonese where we got married a few days before. They provided towels, drinks, a bluetooth for music... it was so great! Thank you so much as well to Gianluigi who was so friendly and responsive over email when we were booking this trip. Pricing is reasonable too and the boat was beautiful and in great condition. Next time we're in Ischia, we'll definitely rent from West Coast Ischia. Friendly, knowledgeable, it felt like we were out for a day on the ocean with a good friend! The day was warm, but the ocean was still cold when we were there in April. We did not swim, but we toured around the whole island, stopping for lunch in Sant’Angelo. It was a perfect day and a large part of that was due to Dario, so thank you! We had the most amazing day out on West Coast’s private boat charter with our English speaking skipper, Gianluigi (GG). We booked for 2 families - 10 people in total (4 adults and 6 children 10 yo - 15 yo). The boat was beautifully maintained and spotless with plenty of space and shade for our families to enjoy the trip around the whole island for 7 hours. The rate was good value as it included fuel, drinks, masks/goggles and towels. GG was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and very skilled at navigating the boat. He took us to special and unique places away from crowds and shared very interesting local information and history across the day. He pre-ordered lunch for us in St Angelo - we chose to have paninis on board but could also have arranged for us to sit down for lunch in town. He took us to special thermal rock areas, caught sea urchins and shucked them open for us to try and shared some incredible insights about the local history and geological significance. He kept the boat spotless and was very interested in how we liked to spend the day, giving us many options to choose from. GG was fantastic at engaging the children. He navigated the boat safely and skilfully into small grottos and caves. The whole experience was personalised and special. We all agreed it is the best boat tour we have ever done and highly recommend it!! We look forward to coming back for another day out with GG.
