We wanted to understand the culture of the thai kitchen. The roundtrip in the Market was very good with good information about the food we saw. Missed a little transisition of the same info when we were cooking. Good English speaking chef and Guide. Most of the ingredients were chopped and distributed finished and portioned. Very professonial tour and cooking place that can give you a tiny «less authentic thai feeling». But very good.6 out of 5 for this brilliant day, absolutely loved it. Really well done from hotel collection, buying ingredients from local market to food preparation. All done with a smile! Setting was perfect and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn about Thai cooking

Just finished our Thai cookery course in Hua Hin. Picked up @ the hotel at 8:50, taken to the market and shown around all of the fish, shellfish, vegetable, spices and egg stall! Smelly but fascinating, lasts about 45 minutes. Then back into the taxi and taken to the School. Cooked Green curry, Pad Thai, hot/sour soup and a Thai pudding with Jack fruit & tapioca. The class is run extremely well, informative and with a sense of humour. We met some lovely people from Taiwan, Sweden, Israel and Aus.if you have any interest in cooking, go for it! We live in Hua Hin and booked a course for ourselves and our guests. The tour of the market was informative and fun. We all learned new things. The cooking course was fantastic. The instructions were beautifully clear and the organization of the preparation of ingredients and actual cooking was so deftly managed that we thoroughly enjoyed each course. We had several different dietary restrictions that were accommodated with ease by the staff. If you love food, fun and cooking, this is a must-do activity!
