This was such a fun experience! Tracy picked us up from the Explorer hotel, then took us to her secluded cabin in the woods. The cabin is SO CUTE, and has lots of cultural clothing to try on for pictures. It was very cloudy all day, so while we waited for clearer skies, Tracy served her delicious fish soup and fresh made bannock bread. Incredibly tasty! We chatted with other member of the tour - after 2 years of isolation, it was so wonderful to meet new people from all over the world. Just as we finished eating, Tracy announced the aurora was coming!! And it did! We got excellent views of the Northern Lights (and the stars), and even of the moon rising. When it got cloudy again, Tracy took us to another location where we were able to see more aurora. I can't recommend this tour enough. We would have had a great time even if there was no aurora!
