What to expect
Shuttle departs at your convenience. No waiting for other passengers.
Your shuttle driver will pick you up from the airport near Belize City and drop you off at a designated location in San Ignacio, or at your hotel within town limits (extra hotel drop-off charges may apply for out-of-town hotels). You will meet your driver as soon as you exit the doors after customs inspection.
The drive is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours from the international airport along the scenic Western Highway. Our new 2019 model vans include a professional driver, refreshments, and WiFi onboard.

- The duration of transfers are approximate, the exact duration will depend on the time of day and traffic conditions
- Each traveler is allowed a maximum of 2 suitcase and 1 carry-on bag. Oversized or excessive luggage (e.g. surfboards, golf clubs or bikes) may have certain restrictions, please inquire with the operator prior to travel to confirm if your excess luggage is acceptable

Belize Ground Shuttle was excellent. We were delivered in a timely fashion while learning much about Belize from our driver. His driving was very safe and he routed us to save time. A perfect way to learn as well as get to your destination.

I 'dug' up the company when I felt the airport-hotel price by the hotel near San Ignacio was too high. Indeed Belize Ground Shuttle were 1/2 the price and got me door to door, with wi-fi, clean van and on time, so what else could you want? Actually it was a separate (banged up) local taxi from Hodes Place to the hotel, but the driver, Abraham, was so pleasant , I didn't care about the shape of his car which clearly endures a lot of abuse off the main road. I took them initially from the airport to the hotel outside San Ignacio and then back to the ferry terminal from the hotel when I spent the last few days at Caye Caulker. Very happy to recommend them.I had heard great reviews of Belize Ground Shuttle from family and friends. They were courteous, prompt, and efficient. The van was clean and comfortable, in addition to having wifi and water. I would book with them again.
