Inshore Fishing on the Waters of the Choctawhatchee Bay
Overview
Captain Rob’s passion is to help people find their joy and manage grief. One day on the water can break a cycle of sadness. Families touched by tragedy, cancer-survivors, and combat veterans have priority. Purple Heart recipients and Wounded Warriors fish for free (Please call ahead for coordination).
All are welcome for a day “at EASE”.

What to expect
L4K Charters provides an amazing inshore fishing experience on the sheltered waters of the Choctawhatchee Bay. Access is available from Fort Walton Beach, Niceville, and Destin, FL. Captain Rob can accommodate up to four anglers and one non-angler. Each trip is customized to the angler’s ability and desired experience. Anglers will target Redfish, Jack Crevalle, Mangrove Snapper, Black Drum, Flounder, Trout, and many more. Each angler will use the best Penn equipment and live baits.
Anglers enjoy a smooth ride, comfortable seating, shade, and a private head (toilet). Launched in 2017, “at EASE” is a pristine 22’ center-console built by Sea Hunt and powered by Yamaha 200hp. She is the perfect vessel for families with children, first-time anglers, as well as hard-core fishermen. Fishing license, equipment, and bait are included. Guests only need to bring drinks and snacks.
New for 2019: Memory Maker trips are short-runs for quick-catches within minutes of the dock. First-time anglers and young ones may not be up for a full day on the water. This trip is designed for your young family with school-age children that want a piece of Destin Fishing.

- Children 3-years and older are welcome. They must wear a Coast Guard Approved live jacket at all times.

Captain Rob was awesome from the get-go. We pulled out a little early, and within 10 minutes we had lines in the water. Great for families in my opinion- it was me, my husband, our 10 year old daughter and one of her friends. We never had to wait for him to bait the hooks, or recast the lines. We were fishing the whole time. We each caught a couple fish, had plenty for dinner that night. The fish weren’t biting the whole time, but that is no fault of his. He took us to 5-6 different spots to give us the best chance to catch more, but fishing is just the luck of the draw sometimes lol! He was very conversational- and engaged with all of us, even the kids. He has such a heart for helping people… he shared some of his family’s story with us, and that made us like him even more. Common bonds will do that. :) He provided bottled water, and allows small coolers if you wish to bring one. We went from 11am-2pm, so we took snacks for the kids. Make sure you wear sunscreen, a hat & sunglasses. It gets a little sunny on the boat. If/when we come to Destin again, we are going to try the near-shore trip! I get seasick so we opted for the bay fishing instead of deep sea and I had no issues what so ever.
