Our family of four (with 2 kids aged 8 and 10) had a WONDERFUL soba making experience with Taku and Mai. They were very friendly, warm and very patient in showing us how to make soba. The seafood shabu shabu lunch was delicious and so was our soba which they cooked for us. Taku even let our girls cut more soba noodles later on from his batch of dough and gave them spinning top presents. Our girls enjoyed the experience very much and we had a wonderful afternoon with Taku and Mai in their cosy and warm restaurant. We highly recommend this experience to everyone!!My boys and I did this tour in December 26. I had no idea how to get to the restaurant so someone came and met me. My boys and I did this tour in December 26. I had no idea how to get to the restaurant so someone came and met me. Luckily our hotel was only 3 blocks away. We had a lovely private soba making experience and they took pictures throughout our time there which were shared immediately. We had shabu shabu for the first time and I really enjoyed myself. It was a nice way to get the kids off their phones and experiencing something cultural. A++!We found this place via google. It was centrally located and super easy to find. Our teacher Taku was Fun and encouraging and our handmade soba was so legitimate. This is perfect if you’re looking for a chill activity to do in town. Plus you get to eat Shabu Shabu.
