We had not realized the venue was not a theatre but a church (a very charming church, well worth the visit). So no stage, no orchestra pit, just a handful of musicians in front of the altar, so we were expecting something maybe a bit amateurish. But oh, grata sorpresa, it was EXCELLENT. All the performers, both musicians and voices, were outstanding. Great connection with the audience. And a beautiful setting with excellent acoustics. It all made for a unique, intimate, and very enjoyable experience. The only drawback was the suffocating heat with no ventilation (it was in the middle of a heatwave in July). Take a fan!The church was absolutely beautiful, the selections were mesmerizing and the singers commanded the audience. The only downside was it was extremely hot, with almost no air movement. They did have little fans, however it seemed we were in the row without one. We only stayed half way through the pe...

They did have little fans, however it seemed we were in the row without one. We only stayed half way through the performance as I was sweating through my dress and my partner felt light headed.
