We show you the beautiful Finnmark nature! We choose between three diffrent startpoints and start from the place we the have best chance to see the macical Nothern Ligths!
This trip is perfect if you want to experience Finnmark`s mountains and nature!
Transport from hotels in Alta and the docks to start point are included.
Tour length: 5-7hours included transport from Alta
Suitable for most without any snowmobile experience
The tour leads mostly over flat terrain, with some rugged terrain and it’s quite easy to drive also for inexperienced drivers. Valid driving license needed!
If you have any food allergies or health issues please let us know before the trip.
For our guests who need glasses we recommend to switch to contacts prior to the tour.

We were so fortunate to see the magical northern lights, bundled up in our suit’s standing on a reindeer field far from the ambient lights near midnight in zero degrees… and loving every second.

It turned out that we were the only guests that evening. The owner Marius and his assistant Maria chose our mountain destination based on the best possible...
Our tour was outstanding from beginning to end. We were picked up promptly at the cruise port in a small tour van which held about 12 people. It turned out that we were the only guests that evening. The owner Marius and his assistant Maria chose our mountain destination based on the best possible chance to see the Northern Lights. Marius was a safe driver and knew the mountain road and conditions. When we arrived at the top of the mountain the tour company provided the arctic gear to keep us warm. The snowmobiles were powerful and comfortable (with heated hand grips). We rode across the top of the mountain to an open location to watch for the Northern Lights. The location was perfect. We were alone with no other people or light. Marius provided warm berry cider and Norwegian candy bars while we waited. Our guides were warm and friendly and showed us what to look for and where. We were so excited to see the Northern Lights for the first time. We were able to stay as long as we wanted. It was an excellent experience and we highly recommend it.Wir sind schon etwas älter ( 65 - 56 ) und haben auf unserer Norwegentour mit der Aida dieses kleine Abenteuer gebucht. Marius hat uns am Hafen mit einem kleinen Van abgeholt. Schon die fahrt in die Berge war traumhaft und sehr lustig. Marius und Maria sind Herzmenschen und wir fühlten uns sofort...
Wir sind schon etwas älter ( 65 - 56 ) und haben auf unserer Norwegentour mit der Aida dieses kleine Abenteuer gebucht. Marius hat uns am Hafen mit einem kleinen Van abgeholt. Schon die fahrt in die Berge war traumhaft und sehr lustig. Marius und Maria sind Herzmenschen und wir fühlten uns sofort wie bei Freunden. Nach einer Sicherheitsunterweisung und warmer Ausrüstung ging es hinauf in die Berge. Obwohl die Zeit für Nordlichter ende März vorbei ist und es in dieser Nacht stark bewölkt war, bekamen wir als i-Tüpfelchen noch das magische Licht an einer Berghütte zu sehen. Aber auch ohne die Nordlichter war für uns diese Tour, das Beste was wir je in Norwegen gemacht haben. Ich kann nur jeden diese Tour mit Finnmark Adventure empfehlen. Sie ist jeden Cent wert!!! Danke Maria und Marius für ein unvergessliches Abenteuer.
