What to expect
Spend around 2 hours on horses and explore wild Romania. Ride on secluded forest paths and discover spectacular landscapes.
Our trip starts with a drive from Brasov to a local ranch. A horse that matches your riding level (beginner, intermediate or advanced) will be assigned to you.
Tips before and during the experience are provided along the way by a horseback riding instructor.
Our route includes fields, hills and forests. Enjoy breathtaking Transylvanian landscapes and observe wildlife like deers, foxes and various bird types!
After we return to the ranch you will get insider access to the stables and interact with pure breeds like the Friesians and Andalusian horses.
A traditional meal with first course, main course and desert, follow! Drinks (water, juice, beer, Romanian spirts like Palinca) are also included!
Bonus: On our way back a free guided Tour of a fortified Transylvanian church is included!
Important: This horseback riding experience focuses on spending quality time in nature, socializing with locals and having a quality time. The main goal of the tour aren't horseback riding lessons. Tips are provided but please don't expect intensive lessons!

We loved the experience from start to finish! Vlad was very friendly, took care of everything, and led us on a great trail ride providing enough tips that even as a complete beginner, made the ride very comfortable. The ranch is located just a short drive away from Brasov, and set in an idyllic open field. It was a very unique way to see the beautiful landscape in the area, and the horses were very well trained. We navigated through hills, forests, rode by streams, and Vlad did all photography on our behalf. After the ride, we were treated to a lovely home cooked meal. Vlad then took us on a tour of a fortified church in Harman, which was terrific too, and he is clearly very knowledgeable about the history surrounding this area.Fantastic experience of nature on horse back. We had an amazing day in Vlads company. The nature, food and the last stop at a church made our day Perfect. Vlad knows everything and tells it in such a way you Never want to stop listening! I am really a very beginner rider and I was paired with a calm and beautiful mare. Vlad was very considerate and helpful and the trail was serene and beautiful scenery. Highly recommend!

This is definitely an experience worth trying while visiting Brasov. I booked it less than 24 hours, because I had an unexpected change of schedule. I wanted to take full advantage of the xtra free free day. The tour took place although I was the only one that booked. The horse was gentle and the landscape is amazing. I've seen squirrels, deers and lots of sheep. Lunch was open air. We ate together with all members from the staff of the ranch. That allowed me to get personal with the locals. I also got an exclusive tour of the stables and could admire some superb Friesians. Vlad was the name of my guide. I do recommend him he is very attentive and ticks all the boxes.
