We had a very good time. They were very professional and treated us excellent. The resort you go to to do the riding at is beautiful and you can spend extra time at following the ride. You can eat lunch and have drinks by the beach but chips are provided. The ride is definitely for beginners if you don’t have experience or even for kids. There was an 8yr old on our ride that did well. It’s a little boring for experienced riders but the scenery is pretty. I do wish the scenery was a little more jungle like and variable. It can get boring at times. Overall good experience. We went for a horse ride this week, we had a transfer provided which picked us up from our hotel and took us for a 30min journey where we arrived at the ranch. We went for a horse ride this week, we had a transfer provided which picked us up from our hotel and took us for a 30min journey where we arrived at the ranch. The tour guide was very welcoming, the horses well looked after, with access to shade, food and water. The guide gave us an introduction on how to ride western style and matched each person to a horse according to their riding ability. Safety helmets were provided for everyone, although not an amazing fit. At least 3 guides rode out with us along the trails through the jungle and maroma resort. They ensured everyone was safe and happy. Being an experienced rider, I had the opportunity with other riders to have a canter which was great. The horses had lots of energy and were exceptionally well behaved. Upon reaching a pond one guide dismounted and fed a crocodile which was a surprise!! But nice to see. The ride was around 1 hour long. We asked for a photo and they were taken on our phone free of charge with no problems. After finishing our ride we were transported to maroma beach for snacks and refreshments included- there was also opportunity to buy proper meals too. It was good we got free time to explore- there were camels just off the beach, and watersports. We had the choice to return on a bus at different times that day which we thought was good. Would highly recommend, ended our trip to Mexico on a high.Hi I took my six year old and 23 year daughters the guide was amazing and took his time to learn how much we knew about riding and the trail was full of beauty!
