Operates: Make it as long as you want, from 2 hours-10 hours! 9:00 am to 7:00pm, buses do a 21 stop loop making their way back to stop 1, time in between buses varies based on season and number of buses running that day. No restroom on the bus. Our last tour departing 2720 Sidney Street is at 4:30pm.

A great overview of the city, pointing out places to visit. I suppose you can say that the guide makes the tour, because we did the Big Bus in Chicago and it was best as a means to get around the city for a day and not much of a tour. But the Pittsburgh experience was outstanding. The guide talked most of the 90 minute ride, and shared history, eating and shopping tips, and personal notes. Fascinating and personable. Yes, you can also hop on and off, using it as a way to get around several sites in the city in one day. Indoor and outside (top) seating depending on the weather. Given the street configurations and bridges it helps to have professionals do the driving. We will be back to take a longer look at the city, largely because the tour exposed us to so many places to explore and things to do.Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Great history and fun facts given throughout tour. Very convenient to get on and off bus to explore the city.
