We were escorted by a local girl Stephany .her task was made easy as the tour as Honfleur was such a beautiful town on a lovely summer day. However Stephanie was very engaging and entertaining showing us areas you would not see on a guided tour.Her English wasn't pitch perfect but she was very energetic with her hands which added to the experience. Definitly to be recommended.Timely and warm welcome by our scottish/local guide when arriving in rainy Honfleur. Timely and warm welcome by our scottish/local guide when arriving in rainy Honfleur. Got to see and hear about the most interesting sites and people in a short period of time, weren’t bored for a second. We booked the tour wanting to know more about Honfleur and wishing to see it through the eyes of a local and not wish to have our heads stuffed with historical dates and unknown notaries. Our guide Bénédicte spoke perfect English (she is a language teacher after all) was knowledgable and great fun to be with, she new the area well and took us to some places that were not immediately apparent. She was very accommodating of my elderly mother and suggested that we take the car to a pretty little church on the top of the hill and to a look out point that gave panoramic views over the town and surrounding countryside. By the end of the trip we felt that we had made a new friend and would highly recommend the trip.we were on NCL excursion and we saw this beautiful town and spent time walking around and what a great old place and we had to cross the Normandy bridge to get there
