What to expect
If you come Cappadocia and thinking do something for local, funny and historical; you must try to make your own pottery.
Cappadocia very famous with Hand Made Pottery Art because pottery art has started in Cappadocia. We are still using old school techniques and potter's wheel with natural clay.
If you choose us for this experience, we will meet at our workshop in Avanos which is the most popular between local people for spend time and see art works.
After booking we will text you details :)
Also as a licenced Professional Tour Guide and local men of Avanos, we will be informing you about Avanos and Cappadocian cultural history.
After that we will show a demonstration in our workshop then you will try to make your own pottery!

Had the most amazing couple of hours with our guide Hasan. He was so open and nice from our first meeting and my mother and I grew fond of him over the hours we spent together. We learnt the mastery of pottery through locals from Avanos and took a look at the beautiful carpets that Çınar Halıcılık had to offer. Hasan was so patient with us, and gave us a history of the city as well as a short tour of Avanos which is absolutely beautiful and recommend everyone to visit during their stay in Cappadocia. My mother and I would 100% recommended this experience to everyone visiting the area no matter if you are a local, international or domestic tourist.The pottery workshop was an amazing experience and Hasan and his family were great hosts. We not only got to try making our own piece but Hasan explained along the way about the history of Avanos and pottery. He was very knowledgeable and welcoming.
