Stop At: Pico de Antonia, Ponta Verde, Santiago Cape Verde
Located in the middle of the island, with a magnificent view, offering an exceptional panorama on the island, Pico d'Antonia is the highest mountain of the island of Santiago with 1394 meters of altitude. There you feel like you're at the end of the world touching the sky. From there you can see the whole island and when the weather is nice you can see the islands of Fogo and Maio.

Nous avons fait une randonnée sur le pico et 2 randonnées dans la Sierra Malaguetta avec Edimilson. Tout s'est très bien passé. En plus des randonnées nous avons été visiter le marché d'Assomada et faire un tour sur la côte est en Aluguer. A recommander sans hésitation.

It was entertaining, funny, challenging and I was rewarded not only with an awesome view on the entire island but also with good (local and international) music, sunshine and a tour guide who always looked out for me and my steps. I felt safe, secure and in best hands! Just be sure, you have a good conditional health, because this really can be exhausting for some parts of the hike. Also, everything was well communicated, on time and easy going! I would definitely recommend this trip or any other from RURAL tours.Fantastique.
