I was in Cali for business and this tour made my stay in Cali perfect. The Valley Adventours staff Karina, Juliana, Daniel and Ernesto were great. They picked me up in my Hotel with no delay. The hiking in the Farallones was great, and the Guides Juliana and Ernesto made it even better. We could see nice waterfalls, walk in the middle of the jungle and enjoy very scenic views. The lunch at the Ponce village was delicious and teh restaurant has a nice view to the Ponce River. I strongly recommend Valley Adventours! They are very professional and reliable!Definitely a no pain no gain experience, but the gain was spectacular. Everything was arranged efficiently. Highly recommended but be prepared to get your feet wet.Fabulous guide! Just what we needed to escape the city… take the extra time to hang at the river in the end too. (One note: be prepared for MUD.)

Since it had rained the night before, it was a little muddy and slippery and quite scary for us the first time. Would recommend for experienced people who know how to hike. The views and waterfall were beautiful.

I had an excellent experience from beginning to end. Make sure to wear proper hiking attire & take bugs repellant for mosquitos, etc. You start by being picked up at one of the listed hotel (sites) at 7am. Driver takes you out to the outskirts of Cali to a neighborhood that sits on the edge of the mountain. You'll see tons of cyclists here. Make sure to have a light breakfast and take water; there are a couple places to buy small Colombian breakfast bites. Ernest, our guide arrived and we began the hike. The tour had a personal touch since it consisted of our guide Ernest, my significant other, and I. I really appreciated Ernest's knowledge of the area as far as plants, birds, trails, historical details, and since he's local to the area he also knows the people who live along the trail high up on the mountain. There are people who's roots go back to the 1800s still living on the mountain. The highlights of the tour of course being the waterfalls which were very nice. Each waterfall having its own unique qualities and I recommend getting into the fresh natural water. The conclusion of the hike is along the Pance River at a restaurant for a traditional Colombian lunch of sancocho and carne asade; at least this is what I ordered. Overall, the hike was fantastic and I truly appreciated Ernest's hospitality. He goes beyond as a guide and would highly recommend him. As a Colombian-American I do speak fluent Spanish, and he's able to communicate in English as well. This excursion is a good way to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city for a few hours. My guide's name was Julian and he really made this a hike that I'll forever remember. My guide's name was Julian and he really made this a hike that I'll forever remember. The terrain we traveled and the views I was able to capture delivered the exact experience I was after. The hike was steep at a few points and even slippery at times so I wouldn't suggest going unless you have the right equipment from trail shoes, bug spray, plenty of water, snacks, and a poncho. If you plan on getting in the water make sure to bring a change of clothes. We capped off the trip with a complimentary lunch that came with the deal that was washed down with some authentic Colombian beer.
