Many of the sights are beyond the park trail most visited. Normally, we are the only ones in this area, which adds to the charm and enrichment of the experience.

What to expect
Enjoy a guided hike of a remote valley with a beautiful lake, towering cliffs, varieties of flowers and trees, wild horses and alpacas, a meandering river and distant waterfalls.
Your trip will include light hiking, plenty of stops for rest, views, photography, even meditation (if you wish), and breaks for snacks.
We are happy to take personal or group photos for our guests, too!

Absolutely amazing! The best experience I've had in the Cajas was with Explore Cajas. Marc was the best guide, took me to see the horses and alpacas and the ancient Inca trail. Had such a wonderful time. I Recommend this experience a 100%!

I was fortunate in that I was the only guest on the day we trekked and Marc was my host. The hike delivered on all that was promised and more. Marc is very personable and knowledgeable. He is also willing to admit it when he doesn't know the answer to one's questions, which is refreshing. We hiked on a misty day, saw alpacas, mustangs, and other critters as well as spectacular vistas.This was a great trip and way to spend the day, with good views and history of the valley. We saw beautiful flora and fauna; llamas, alpacas and wild horses. The sceneries are absolutely gorgeous with serene lake, flowing streams and rivers, towering mountains and lush cloud forest.
