Your guide will share a brief and concise history of the Glacial grooves and their formation, as we hike around the perimeter. Photo opportunity here.

The Kelleys Island State Park on the North end of the Island has a fun and exciting bike trail through the woods allowing guests to experience the joy of nature, and the fun of bicycling off road! We stop to see the unique Alvar Preserve and the pebbles beach before we move to an exhilarating 15-20 min ride through this park..

We will travel by road to East Quarry approximately 1 mile away to more off road trails and discovery of a completely different yet similar habitat.

Highly recommend! Some friends and I went to Kelly's Island for a couple days and did the Hike/Bike Tour with Dawn from Kellys Island Adventours. We also did the Kayak Treasure Tour and I would recommend both. Dawn is extremely knowledgeable about the Island, the Geography, the Geology, the plants, the birds, the water, the history ...... I could go on and on. She is very personable went out of her way to provide a fun time for all of us. We had a blast and would definitely do both tours again. We had varying levels of bike riding skills in our group and Dawn geared our trip to that. We were on roads and trails, but nothing too strenuous. We also stopped fairly often to hear about the area we were in. The bikes are all-terrain bikes that were surprisingly easy to ride. They had plenty of gears to make it easy wherever we went. We were very happy with our overall experience.My wife and I were wanting to explore Kelly Island. We thought a tour would be our best way to do so. We booked a spring hike and bike tour with Dawn.
