Torc Waterfall is a key attraction in Killarney National Park. The walk to the waterfall takes five minutes and you can spend up to 20 minutes in this special place.

Stop At: Muckross House, Gardens & Traditional Farms, Muckross House & Gardens The Killarney National Park, Killarney V93 EW28 Ireland
Muckross House is a 19th century furnished mansion with magnificent gardens. You can walk around the gardens at no charge. You can take a tour of the inside of the House - you purchase a ticket at the House.

Stop At: Ross Castle, Ross Road Ross Island, Killarney V93 V304 Ireland
Ross Castle is a 15th-century tower castle, once the home of the Chieftain O'Donoghue, located on the edge of Lough Leane, in Killarney National Park. You can walk around the outside of the castle free of charge. A tour of the castle is available and optional and you can purchase a ticket at the Castle.

We will stop at the shore of Lough Leane where you can view the Island of Innisfallen.

Paudie was the perfect host, guide and driver. He is extremely knowledgeable and provided many interesting facts and answered all of our questions. My highest compliment would be that he knew the perfect blend of speaking and providing quiet. Other tours we have taken have had information overload without time to just take in the scenery. It is obvious he is well liked in the region as the hotel raved about him when we informed them of our guide, as well as many of the ticket takers along the journey. Everyone knew him and had huge smiles when they saw him. If the entire trip wasn’t enough to have us thoroughly convinced we had the best possible tour guide, Paudie was kind enough to post a forgotten cap on to our next hotel and it was waiting in the room. My wife and I could not have been happier with this tour. Paudie is friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. We thought this was some of the best money spent on our trip to Ireland. Prior to the tour we thought we had seen what the area had to offer in our drive in and at our hotel, but that was far from the case. We had no idea how much more there was to see in Killarney. On the tour we experienced epic scenery and impressive old homes and castles and walked away with some great pictures. Having experienced the tour I would certainly not recommend trying to tour these sights on your own. Not only did booking this tour provide us with a ton of information about the area and the history, but Paudie would often pull us up to the front of the attraction while the other tourists were parking and walking up long distances. One other thing I would add is that we really enjoyed the way Paudie conducted the tour, in that he would tell us about the attraction when we initially arrived and then bow out and allow us to tour the site at our own pace. We found this approach very tactful and professional. To summarize, we had no complaints whatsoever and would strongly encourage anyone visiting the Killarney area to book this tour, you will be glad you did.Our family took a weeklong tour with Paudie covering east, south, and west of Ireland.
