I was a member of a small group for a day tour. We had a wonderful day with Andalindalo Tours to the Las Alpujarras region. We got to see the gorgeous mountains, almond trees in bloom, and quaint white villages. I live in Malaga, but have not been to many areas since I do not drive here. This was a great opportunity for me to see and learn about nearby villages. The scenery was beautiful! The guides were fabulous! They had vast knowledge of the history of the region and were entertaining as well. We all had good conversation and many laughs (and great food!) throughout the enjoyable day. I am looking forward to signing up for another tour with them soon (Cabo De Gata, here I come)! I highly recommend their tours for visitors or local residents alike.Todo fenomenal. If you are traveling to the Province of Almeria, we highly recommend booking a tour with Andalindalo Excursions (who picked us up and dropped us off at our apartment). Els and Morne organized a wonderful day trip for four of us in an air-conditioned mini-van to the Geode de Pulpi which included a beautiful panoramic drive along the cost of Spain through the villages of Mojacar and Carboneras. Along the way to the geode, which definitely is not to be missed, Els and Morne treated us to a delightful picnic of rose, olives, pistachios and other snacks. This rest stop was a welcome pause as we basked in the sun and feasted our eyes on the spectacular view. Our guides were very knowledgeable and we enjoyed non-stop conversations about the historical, cultural, agricultural and other aspects of the country and area. Visiting the geodes was impressive but make sure to arrange bookings early as they only allow a limited number of people at a time into the mine. We thoroughly enjoyed the day, the guides, our fellow travelers, the scenery and the excitement of going down into the caves. This area is well worth visiting, and made even better by our guides. Thank you Else and Morne.
