It was our first time in Marrakech so we wanted to learn about the culture and have someone show us around the city. Our tour guide, Aimad, was seriously incredible! He was personable, very knowledgeable, and friendly 🙌 At the end of our tour, we asked him to recommend a few spots for lunch and he dropped us off at a Moroccan restaurant called Chez Lamine. He mentioned that’s where local go and it’s his favorite place. The restaurant did not disappoint, it was the best Moroccan food we had! We had Omar as our guide and he was super nice and easy to talk to! We had a lot of laughs and he made sure to cater the tour to what we wanted to see. He gave us tips on how to hail taxis, how to avoid scams in Marrakech, and how to haggle in the souks. He even shared his hotspot with us so we could find our way to Ben Youssef after the tour, which was very thoughtful. We might not have seen all the spots on the tour - I think we le jardin secret was advertised - but my friend and I had an amazing time. A highlight for me was the Berber pharmacy. Would definitely recommend this as a way to see the city! Maybe as a first day thing so you get a feel for the layout of the city.
