I also offer the option to stop for lunch on the way back at a delicious and authentic mexican restaurant which I really recommend!
Important Notes:
*The total time of the trip is 6 hours, including transportation time (1 - 1.5 hours each way depending on your hotels location). It is a bit of a far drive but totally worth it once you are there plus you get to enjoy a very beautiful ride along the way!
*Please bring some hiking shoes and sunblock

There was another couple with us and I shamelessly chose the short route - which I am glad because it was incredibly hot. The water was very cool and felt absolutely wonderful. I wish we had taken more tours with Max (he offers surfing lessons and a city tour I believe) - we had such a good time and felt right at home with him. The stop for ice cream and lunch AND at the Tropic of Cancer line was a huge bonus. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!Max our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and our experience. If you don’t go to lunch afterwards, at least stop for ice cream or a cold treat at the Tropic of Cancer. It was hot when we went, but stay hydrated and take breaks if needed and you’ll be fine. It’s worth it!
