Meet the Winemaker and be guided to the facilities and cellar of the Winery.
Tasting of 4 organic wines paired with local cheese and other home made delicacies.

Visit "Karaoula" Medieval Wine Press next to Alagni village. Be guided by our Sommelier to the traditional wine making methods of Heraklion.

Guided Vineyard and Cellar tour. Our Sommelier introduces you to the indigenous grape varieties and winemaking techniques. Walk through the grape vines and take pleasure of the scenic views.
Wine Tasting of 6 wines paired with Lunch. Starters, main and dessert paired with 6 glasses of different excellent Cretan wines.

This tour was a nice way for us to spend a day away from crowds. We tasted very good wines and food but also learned a lot about this island. The service was excellent. I recommend it.

We had a fantastic day with Areti. She picked us up at 1000 at our hotel and then we headed off for our tour. 2 vineyards - very different experiences- but lots of wine to taste and lovely snacks provided. We rounded of the day with a meal at Archanes at a restaurant in the villages square. The meal was outstanding and the wine pairing excellent. There was no rush everything was leisurely and relaxed. We got back to our hotel at 1815, so a very full day. Areti was hugely knowledgeable about Cretan wines and we learnt a lot about grapes varieties and the manufacture process. I have experienced some amazing wine tours in Burgundy & Loire regions in the past that set the bar quite high. I wasn't sure what to expect for this one. I'm Cretan myself, however I've been abroad for 20 years and have little idea on Cretan wines. Well, with Areti, I hit the jack pot! A warm, pleasant person and very knowledgeable sommelier she drove us from the hotel to the wineries giving us lots of informations about Crete, the wineries and some fascinated stories to relate with our experience. It was an apocalypse! I felt I've been in Crete for first time in my life, a heartwarming feeling paired with excellent food, wine and Areti's imagination-capturing guidance.
