Overview
Join on a journey to Henningsvær in the evening light. On the way we’ll launch an underwater drone, bringing you closer to the rich marine life that provides both Lofoten and the world with delicacies like sea urchins, kelps and crabs.
We visit a 200 year old cod steam house and get a little tour with a Norwegian caviar taster at the end. Step ashore in Henningsvær and discover this quaint little village by foot. Take in the colourful houses and one of many galleries. Henningsvær is a historic fishing town turned cultural centre of Lofoten.
On the return we will cruise past Lofoten’s tallest peaks. draped in the magnificent evening sunlight, outlining its craggy peaks and bringing vivid colour to the sandy beaches, islands and skerries.

What can be better that spending evening on a brand new boat, watching the sunlight play with the fjords, while you get spoiled by knowledgeable and handsome Norwegian crew? So, why should you choose this particular tour where there are many others to choose from? First the boat itself offers comfort, safety and possibility to stay warm and dry, or stand outdoors if you wish so. Food we’ve got served was local, and way better than in any Svolvær restaurants we’ve tried. Please notice that it is not full meal, but there are many continental dishes to choice from at additional (reasonable) cost. We were served local snacks (stockfish, almonds in seaweed flavour and aquavitt-snaps) at departure, and warming fish soup on our way back. Absolutely stunning views above and underwater. The town of Henningsvær is the prettiest in Lofoten, full of art galleries, smal cosy restaurants and quite special fotball pitch.Barna_og_jeg

Dette ble Svolværturens høydepunkt. Både min gamle mor og mine tre tenåringsbarn hadde en fantastisk tur, superhyggelige og hjelpsomme folk ombord og en styrmann som fikk alle til å føle seg velkommen. Vi blir gjerne med denne båten en annen gang også😀
