We had a wonderful time with her as she led us through guided meditations, a yoga session, and showed us round and taught us about the local rice growing, and much more. This experience featuring mediation, yoga, and cultural immersion was exactly what I needed - and each part of the experience exceeded my expectations. Amori is a thoughtful and attentive host, and her retreat center features gorgeous spaces for meditation and yoga as well as outdoor wandering among her fruit trees. Her knowledge and insight as a mediation guide and yoga teacher allowed for a meaningful morning of mindfulness, movement, and breathwork. I learned so much from her, and remembering her meditation guidance even helped me later during a bumpy part of my flight. In addition to her meditation and yoga instruction, Amori provided us with a delicious and beautifully-presented vegetarian lunch. After lunch (and great conversation as a group), Amori guided us on a visit to local temples. At the temples, she taught us about Thai Buddhist customs and the temples themselves. I strongly recommend this wonderful experience for anyone seeking to learn more about meditation or deepen their practice, or for anyone looking for a day of retreat and self-care. Thank you to Amori for this unforgettable experience! The place is beautiful, like a paradise! The tutor/ host is professional, careing, kind and knowledgeable. Amori is an incredible host. I went to this experience with my friend, and we truly had a spectacular time. We learned how to meditate with tools that will serve us for a lifetime, practiced yoga, and enjoyed some of the best food we have ever tasted in Thailand (prepared by her mom). This experience allowed us to see Chiang Mai from a different perspective. Highly recommended. Amori also took us to visit some temples nearby, and we got to see the rice fields. We had a wonderful experience with Amori at her lovely home and meditation retreat. We had a wonderful experience with Amori at her lovely home and meditation retreat. We were greeted by Amori and took a walk to the nearby rice paddies to get a view of the area. Next, we enjoyed two types of meditation (walking, seated). The meditation room is nicely situated amongst nature and was very relaxing as you can hear the birds chirp and it was very clean. Next we practiced yoga in Amori's studio and then had a break for lunch. The lunch was beautifully prepared and was delicious! The area around Amori's house is very nice with trees, artwork, and waterways. She also has a nice room where you can stay for an extended period of time. After lunch we visited a local temple and Amori explained the various traditions and murals on the wall. The temple was beautiful and Amori's explanations helped us better understand the context and culture. Amori lined up transportation for us which was very helpful from downtown Chiang Mai (~30mins away). Overall, we were very happy with our personalized experience and it was a pleasure getting to know Amori and her family!
