Stop At: Sounds Connection, The Waterfront 4B 1 London Quay, Picton 7220 New Zealand
An afternoon among the vines! You will be collected and taken on a tour through the Marlborough wine region visiting three-four hand-picked wineries. A lunch stop is not included in this tour so we do advise you have something to eat prior to joining us. We offer a complimentary pick-up from your central Picton or central Blenheim accommodation and will return you thereafter.

- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Minimum drinking age is 18 years
- Not wheelchair accessible
- Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them board and disembark
- Most travelers can participate
- This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund

Sam was a superb tour guide, we got a great overview of the region on the drive to Blenheim. His knowledge/appreciation of wine was obvious. The half-day tour gave a concise overview of Marlborough and it was great having someone else drive!

What a fun afternoon! Our driver Marcela was a local treasure! Not only did she pick us up at our AirBnB but she also shared lots of info with us as we traveled to the different wineries. Were really liked getting to experience 4 different atmospheres and wines. This was our last activity of our 2 week trip on the South Island and we all felt very happy that we ended on such a high note.We were in town for one day on a cruise ship. This was a great way to see the sights, enjoy some of the regions beautiful wines and learn some history. Peter was an excellent tour guide! I highly recommend!

We went on a half day wine tour from Blenheim in November 2019. We had a great time and the staff at Sounds Connection and our driver were really friendly and helpful. We mistakenly left an item on the tour bus (we probably enjoyed ourselves and the wine a little too much) so contacted Sounds the next day. They had recovered the item and agreed to courier it to us ASAP at their cost. They couldn’t have been more helpful and we really appreciated this. In summary we couldn’t recommend Sounds Connection highly enough. Also the other people on our particular tour we so friendly that the already great experience was enhanced even more. Collected from our Motel on a very wet afternoon. Greeted by all the lovely people already aboard the small coach, from various parts of globe. Our driver Sam was very knowledgeable about the area and the cellars visited and kept us entertained on the journey. Lots of delightful wines tasted with enough information given about them and questions answered. An opportunity to sample wines that are generally above our price range, in good company with no driving.
