You will be provided with riding instructions, a helmet, a lock and a cycle map of the city, including top picks of places to stop on your ride.
You can ride the bays to take in the best view points or use your eBike as your transport between the Wellington must see attractions such as Weta Workshop, Zealandia Sanctuary, Te Papa Museum or the Wellington Cable Car located only 5-minutes away. Stop At: Oriental Bay, Oriental Parade, Wellington 6001 New Zealand
Cruise the waterfront past the scenic and popular Oriental Bay
Duration: 10 minutes
Stop At: Mount Victoria, Alexandra Lookout Rd, Wellington 6001 New Zealand
Set the eBikes to TURBO and head up to the main look out of Wellington City.
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: Shelly Bay Road, Wellington New Zealand
The Chocolate Fish Cafe located at Shelly Bay is the best local cafe on our popular bike route! Serving excellent coffee from a beautiful spot.

Stop At: Weta Cave, 1 Weka Street, Miramar, Wellington 6022, New Zealand
Ride your bike to Weta Workshop and pop into the Weta Cave or take a guided one hour tour. Learn about Wellington's film history, Peter Jackson and Lord of the Rings.

Great beach dotted with cafes. Watch planes take off and land from the nearby airport, surfer learn to surf and dogs chasing sticks.

We have used Switched on Bikes many times over the last few years and it's been a wonderful experience every single time. The electric bikes are great fun, easy to ride and a perfect if you ever need a little bit of extra power to get you through the famous 'Wellington wind'. So many beautiful beaches to explore and hills to climb that would take forever on a normal bike or on foot. Here are a few photos from our previous days out on the electric bikes. Highly recommended!
