Half day private tour to a Cocoa farm and guayaquil city tour
Overview
Our tour starts at 9am and we will first visit a cocoa plantation in Valle Cerecita. This activity allows us to know the exotic plantations of our coastal region. We will learn the process of making chocolate by the hands of our chocolate masters. We begin with the toasting, which together with the fermentation process is crucial for the development of aromas and flavors. In the afternoon we will visit the center of the city, we will see the emblematic malecon Simon Bolivar where Puerto Santa Ana stands on the banks of the Guayas River. We will visit the cobbled streets and the old colonial style houses of the first traditional neighborhood of Guayaquil, known as Las Penas or Culata, where the city was born. At the end of the tour we will visit the viewpoint of the galleon to enjoy its majestic panoramic view.

Our Half Day Tour starts at 9:00 am heading to visit a Cocoa Plantation of approximately 100 hectares located in the valley of Cerecita. This activity allow to know the traditions of the farmer life style and tradition. In this place we appreciate the diversity of plantations and tropical trees of our region. We will learn the fermentation processes of the cocoa fruit. This technology is defined as "Natural Planting Chocolate".
In this activity we differentiate ourselves in one important factor: that chocolate is made in the same plantation, giving us an unparalleled importance to the origin of this ecuadorian product.
In the afternoon, we´re going to start a city tour, heading to the downtown of Guayaqui City, visiting the Malecón Simón Bolívar, Puerto Santa Ana on the banks of Guayas River, here we will find the music museum, the old brewery and the artisan market, we will also visit the cobbled streets and the colonial style houses of the first traditional Barrio of Guayaquil "place of the city", ending the tour we´ll be heading to the Viewpoint of the Galleon to enjoy the majestic panoramic view.

En este tour tuvimos la guía personalizada de dos gratas personas que son Yamil y Simón con una atención impecable y amable preocupándose por nuestra comodidad en todo momento. Roddy propietario de la finca “Cumandá” nos enseñó las plantaciones de cacao desde como se siembra, cosecha y se elabora hasta convertirlo en cacao fino de aroma para su distribución y consumo. Todo el tiempo compartido en el tour fue muy productivo y ameno. Me sentí como en casa.
