In January 2018 four of us booked Jenny's Shanghai Tours for three tours over three days. Booking was extremely straight forward and simple, and Jenny followed up with some clear directions about what to expect, where to meet and some details we needed to provide for one of our excursions by bullet train to a city outside Shanghai. Since Jenny spends a good deal of time in the US, her company is very good at bridging any cultural or linguistic divisions between Western and Chinese cultures. Our guide for all three tours with Portia. Portia speaks English quite well and is easy to understand. She's young and funny but well organized and very polite. Without a doubt she made our three tours excellent. On the first evening we had a casual dumpling dinner and then proceeded to go to the Bund lit up at night, take a ferry across the river, go up one of the modern skyscrapers and walk down the Nanjing Road. On the full day in Shanghai tour the private car was a well worth it investment. We saw a variety of sites from temples to silk factories to going up another skyscraper for dramatic views. Portia kept us on pace but never was rushing us or pressuring us whatsoever. She also has a very funny sense of humor. The last tour was an out of town excursion to Hangzhou. It was a great experience to take a bullet train and see another city including the famous West Lake with a boat ride, tea plantations and an incredible set of Buddha rock carvings and temples. Everything was like clockwork. This was definitely the way to go. No complaints at all. Would certainly suggest it to any friends that end up in Shanghai. We did the tour on December 16th , 2017 , the tour was amazing and Celine the tour guide did an excellent job with us and very impressed with everything we did and saw over the course of the night. We were late due to baggage delay , but Celine patiently waited at hotel and helped us to move the bags quickly to my room. Even though we were late she managed to schedule several things work around without missing the events. Celine was very knowledgeable and energetic . She is fluent in English and she was always on point with her suggestions and even helped us set up dinners as well made great recommendations for us during the remainder of our stay in Shanghai. We were very impressed overall with the tour as well as Celine and five star service provided by driver and van provided. Thank you for setting everything up for us. I strongly recommend to use Jenny's Shanghai tours.
What an amazing way to spend an evening in Shanghai. The street food, dumplings, were amazing. Then to see city lights at the Bund was magical. Followed by an enjoyable view of Shanghai from top of the Jin Mao building. The guide Suzie was friendly and knowledgeable.

We did the Ultimate Shanghai Evening tour with Marco in August 2018. We were originally supposed to do the tour on Saturday evening however, our flight was so delayed we missed the tour and Jenny thankfully moved us to the next evening. We really appreciated that given the late notice! Our tour with Marco was interesting, we ended up being his only customers so it was a private tour for us. The evening started off great and we got to see a lot of Shanghai but we felt it went a little long. By the end we were walking in silence through the financial district and we just wanted to get back to our hotel.Our family went on the Ultimate Shanghai Evening Adventure on the first night of our China vacation and we had an amazing time! Our family went on the Ultimate Shanghai Evening Adventure on the first night of our China vacation and we had an amazing time! We have four kids, ages 16, 14, 11 & 8. Everyone in our family loved this tour. We were staying in the Radisson Blu Hotel and Lee, our tour guide, was patient while we got checked in since we were running a few minutes behind due to heavy downtown traffic. We loved everything about the tour--it was one of our favorite things we did on our trip to China! Thankfully, the weather was perfect and we could see the sights at night clearly. The food was good and we learned a lot. We would recommend this tour to anyone!
