Stop At: Monte Brasil, Freguesia da Se, Angra do Heroismo, Terceira Portugal
We will visit Monte Brasil, passing by the volcano's crater, reaching the viewpoint to Angra Do Heroísmo city, from where we can witness the history flowing through the city!
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Salga Bay, Portugal
We will drive by Baía da Salga, where we had a historical fight with the spanish, who built the fortress we will have visited in Monte Brasil
Stop At: Imperio do Espirito Santo de Sao Sebastiao, Vila de Sao Sebastiao, Angra do Heroismo, Terceira 9700 Portugal
On this village we will visit one of the oldest churches of the island, as well as an Império, a little chapel dedicated to the Holy Spirit, one of the highlights of our culture
Duration: 20 minutes
Stop At: Serra do Cume Viewpoint, Serra do Cume, Praia da Vitoria, Terceira Portugal
Here we will witness the biggest Caldeira (structure of a collapsed volcano) of the Azores, with only two ridges left, each separated by 7 km!

Stop At: Algar do Carvao, Estrada Algar Do Carvao Center of Island, Porto Judeu, Terceira Portugal
Optional, depends on the time of the tour, since it is only open in the afternoon.
It is an empty volcano, of its kind only 3 exist, the visit is acessible, with stairs all the way (no elevator). We will visit the structure, witnessing rare formations such as stalactites formed by silica.

Ricardo was our driver and guide and he was outstanding! We got way more than our money's worth with him. He took us to the caves, lava tube, and steam vents as well as Duck Lake. The scenery on the way to and from was fantastic too. You really need to see the lava tube and Duck Lake if you are on the island. They were so memorable. Ricardo was super friendly with pleasant conversation and very informative about the island and its history. He is also a firefighter so my husband enjoyed talking to him about that. He was a safe driver and picked us up right at the cruise ship with a sign on his car. We really had the perfect introduction to Terceria and look forward to going back because of him and his beautiful island.Paulo's low-key island charm was the high point of an excellent tour. He provided us with the benefits of a lifetime spent on the island, and we learned much about the history and traditions of this beautiful island. Met us at cruise terminal and was easy to find.
