This tour has both a relaxing element, that is the catamaran cruise through Roebuck Bay and an exhilarating element that is the excitement of meandering through mangroves in our adventure tender to locate the mud crab.

Come with us on a fun and flavour filled morning adventure in search of the prized Kimberley Mud Crab.
This unique adventure sees you enjoy a scenic morning catamaran cruise through Roebuck Bay to Broome’s incredible creek systems for an exciting few hours of crabbing in our adventure tender.
You’ll learn how Broomies navigate the tides and creek systems to catch the ‘Muddy’ before trying your hand at picking a prime spot, casting the pots, and the suspenseful pulling of the pot. After crabbing, you get to tuck into the mud crabs' delectable meat, freshly prepared for you on board.

A total of 7 male muddies were placed in the big boiler and eaten with rice, fresh bread and if you wanted with a home made chilli sauce. Yummy!!!!!!!!Absolutely amazing day out with the boys mud crabbing!! They went over and beyond to make sure we had the best experience in Broome. The mud crabs were cooked fresh on board , bloody beautiful. Would recommend this tour for anyone, value for money !!

This was without doubt our best day out in WA so far on our 12 week trip. From the moment the lovely Kerry at the fantastic Broom Visitor Centre booked this for us we had an exceptional experience. Crew were great, the beautiful vessel, the abundant and delicious food, fun company and then the chase for the crabs. Once we had caught our crabs ( the little guys were a bit light on) it was time to relax in the sun with a cold beer ( or in my case a delicious espresso martini) while our crabs were prepared for lunch. Just a wonderful , all round enjoyable day.
