A very relaxing couple of hours paddling in the mangroves. The guide (Sing) was very informative and judged the trip and amount of paddling perfectly for us - my 6 year old daughter was with us. The monkeys were the highlight but Sing also informed about the environment, spotted wildlife including a snake and taught us about planting the mangrove seeds to keep the forest going. The transfers were prompt and water, fruit, etc. provided. An excellent trip.Good tour with our guide sing. Nice monkey visit. They are cute, and hungry😉 swimming to the kajak and snorkeling back after they became their meal.

I took my 3 boys aged 9.5, 8 and 5 kayaking through the mangroves to look at the salamander type fish, crabs and to feed the monkeys. It was a very simple tour - nothing that impressive but the monkeys were fun to see and feed. If I had to do it again with young kids I would have chosen the long tail boat because it got hot very quickly paddling out there! Our guide didn’t speak English but I could understand Thai - I had to translate everything for the kids. He was very knowledgeable about the area and could answer all our questions. He kept us safe and explained things very clearly to us. This tour is good to explore a non beach part of Ko Lanta and only takes a few hours including transfer from the hotel.
