Along the way, you'll discover how rice paper is made, watch sticky rice being cooked in bamboo tubes over an open fire, walk around an old factory where fermented fish paste is made, see dried bananas and banana chips being produced, visit a traditional old rice wine distillery - and more. You'll also have the option to visit the Wat Samrong Knong temple complex and killing fields.

Our tour guide picked us up from our hostel and took us all around different and local places in Battembang, it was such a good way of seeing the city and have a got a good look at the local way of living including the fishing farm and the mushroom farms. We all loved the history and information he told us about the city and about the killing caves which made the day so much more amazing. Kim made the trip, he was so funny and genuinely made the trip all about making us happy and ensured we enjoyed ourselves and got to see what we wanted!
