Overview
Ever pull a 10-pound fish through an 8-inch hole in the ice? This is the ultimate in winter angling. Venture out onto a frozen lake and fish for rainbow, cutthroat, bull and brook trout, kick it old school and brave the weather sitting on a bucket. It's entirely up to you but dress for sub-freezing temperatures anyhow. Great times for all ages.

What an fun experience! Shout out to Brad, who was an amazing and knowledgeable guide. He was so patient and went above and beyond to help us catch fish. Melissa was awesome and very accommodating during the booking process as well. Great gear and stunning landscape around the lake!

First time ice fishing. Authentic Canadian experience. Met at a Outdoor Equipment Store in Pemberton. The drive to the lake takes about 30 minutes. Beautiful location in midst of mountains. Very remote, quiet and no cell phone coverage. Our guide Brad was helpful, knowledgeable and ensured we caught lots of trout. The lake ice was about 10 inch thick with about 2 inches of wet slush on top. The air temperature was maybe minus 2. Normally early January will be a lot colder. The temperature in Pemberton was plus 2. The time flew past. Bonus was travelling over the frozen lake on a ski-doo. We are a family with 2 boys from Hong Kong, it was our first experience in ice fishing in Canada though we had done that in Korea before. But the experience with PFF was totally incomparable. First, the drive from bottom of mountain to the lake at top we'd experienced 4-seasons right in front of our eyes. The frozen lake was stunning and we had it all to ourselves. The magnificent scenery was simply first class. Our guide, Scott, is punctual, knowledgeable and professional in both fishing AND cooking!! With his help, our family was able to catch a big Rainbow Trout and a few smaller ones which all became our fine dinner. Scott is also very patient with kids and he was so equipped that he had prepared warm apple cider and a tent with a heater inside when the boys felt cold. We had an exceptional day spent on the lake while gaining a lot of knowledge from Scott! Thanks to our youngest boy for this brilliant suggestion on the activity, it was a memorable experience to us all for a truly Canadian nature. We'd love to be back!!!
